    <description>&lt;B&gt;DONALD P. SWEITZER&lt;/B&gt;, 71, of O&#146;Fallon, born May 8, 1937 in Chippewa Falls, Wisc., died Wednesday, October 8, at St. Elizabeth&#146;s Hospital in Belleville.
Donald was a member of Grace Church in Fairview Heights. He was the owner and operator of Sweitzer Mobile Home Sales. He had been employed by Illinois Power for 10 years and then worked in the manufactured housing industry for 40 years. He was also the past president of the Manufactured Housing Industry. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore John and Alice L., nee Adams, Sweitzer and a brother Roger Sweitzer.
Donald is survived by his wife, Sondra J., nee Hodge, Sweitzer, whom he married in Decatur, on January 21, 1955; two daughters, Lorie Diane McKinna of San Diego, Calif. and Lynette (John) Pickett of St. Jacob; three grandchildren, Jayma Cook, Tyler Crebbs, Emily McKinna; and a great grandchild, Aidan Cook. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Grace Church Building Fund. Visitation will be held Friday, October 10, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Schildknecht Funeral Home, O&#146;Fallon.
Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 11, at 10 a.m., at the funeral home, with Rev. Hal Santos officiating.
Burial will be at O&#146;Fallon City Cemetery.</description>
